I remember as a kid June's mom & mom got to be good friends in grade school thru the PTA. I used to go over to her house & play with her & my brother in her backyard, they lived near in Broadview. We had so much fun.

As the years went by we would see each other @ Ingraham and talk. I was saddened to hear of her passing and apparently it was in 2015, I did not know that. She was a fun person with a heart of gold..

All the girls with dresses, that was mandatory back then and nobody complained or gave a second thought.

I visit my granddaughter’s elementary school often and I am amazed at how things have changed.
