I'll miss our ongoing conversations regarding political issues, old Fugitive rereuns, et al...every discussion ended in a laugh based on his quick wit!!

I've known Ross as long as i can remember, we were Broadview Bobcats.  Ross was truly one of Natures Noblemen from the start to the finish.  Last saw him at the 45th reunion, still someone that made you feel good just having a conversation.  He was missed at 50. Rest In Peace.

I'm at a loss for words. I don't know what to say. Ross was my best friend in high school, and for most of our adult lives, We lost track of each other over the past few years, which I regret. I need to let this sink in.

I got the news on Sunday. I was shocked as he has always been a true fighter. He was always nice to everyone. He will be missed by many. My heart goes out to his wife and children...

Ross was also my friend from Broadview through High School. We went through Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and had many scout camping trips together. Our parents went to the same church so we went to the same youth activities that we had fun with. We always found ways to bend the rules for all of those connections and I will always remember what we had as friends together. I have fun memories of my childhood of just being kids and just being teenagers with Ross. That will always be my memory from now on. Rest in Peace Ross.

Ross was a great guy to hang with.
So even keel. Unlike some of my other pals, I can't remember even getting close to getting in trouble when I was with him. I'll continue to remember him whenever I cross Venema Creek

Ross was one of the most respectful, caring, and considerate people I have ever known.   I know he will be greatly missed.

I knew Ross mainly at Broadview; I didn't see much of him at Thomson or Ingraham.  But during the time I knew him, he never teased, bullied or belittled another.  He was different: a genuinely nice person.

Ross and his family attended our church when we were growing up.  Bethel Presbyterian was a church that embraced a lot of families in the Broadview neighborhood.  Saw him on occassion when our girls were young out at Yost Park Pool.  He was always engaging, kind, sincere and loved his life, cherished his friendships and was so proud of his family.  His life was a true gift to those who knew him.

Ross and I had wonderful childhood memories.  How he could remember dates, names, and events amazed me.  He had a story about everybody.  He'd always start out, "remember the time",  then tell another story.  It was fun to listen to his version of history.    We did get into quite a bit of mischief but never too serious as I recal.  He loved his new home in Omak and would tell me he had to pinch himself every day he felt so blessed.  He loved to sit on his deck, and drink a whiskey.  I will miss him, and have lots of fond memories of Ross and "our gang" as kids.  I pray he's in a better place and hope to see him again someday.  Take care my friend.
