I remember Gregg taking a couple of us to the Curling rink on 130th, where he was a member. Does anyone else recall calling him Fish? I enjoyed Gregg's freindship. Wish we had stayed in contact.
Yes Indeed. I remember calling him fish. Whenever we lose a classmate I am reminded of our mortality. Gregg was very nice and treated evetyone with respect. I certainly think that is worth mentioning. This summer of 2024 seems to be flying by. My sympathy goes out to his loved ones. I guess it was May. Anyway. The best to his family.
Yes, Gregg, Steve Falk and I were fishing buddies and fellow curlers in our teens. We dreampt about the days when curling would become an Olympic sport, but life gets in the way of so many aspirations, when it finally happened. Gregg took our team to Canada for some serious bonspieling one year. As a side note on curling; Gregg's brother Chuck and my uncle Gary Schnee represented the U.S.A. in the world championship in Perth Scotland in 1975, unfortunately losing to Switzerland in the championship game.
I'm very sorry to hear of Gregg's passing. Fish and I were not great friends but all of my memories of him are of a wonderful guy who was always smiling and was quick to laugh at joke or a comical situation. Rest in peace my friend.
Greg was a wonderful human being, always so kind to people. I don't recall if he was at our 50th. The our junior year at Ingraham, we used to park cars at the Granite curling club at night. Don't remember making much money but we had fun. Loved reading all the comments here, So did he just pass away, as I read the Sunday paper and haven't seen his name in there, also, did he live in the area still? Gone way too soon, a REALLY great guy!
I so remember Gregg,,he was always so very nice and polite,, I remember when we were in Mrs. Hansen's 4th grade class together and he was my square dance partner,, I so enjoyed having him dance with me in square dancing, because he always knew exactly the right moves in square dancing,,very fun partner to have.. He will surely be missed in this world.. My prayers go out to his family during this difficult time ❤️🙏

I dont think there was anyone in school that did not know Gregg. I cetainly had many classes with him over the years from grade school on up.
